Partnership between Signify and Brahmaputra Volleyball League lights up community volleyball courts in Assam

Signify a well-known company in lighting for professionals and consumers and lighting for the Internet of Things, engaged in a partnership with BVL or the Brahmaputra Volleyball League to illuminate 20 community volleyball courts in rural Assam. Through this initiative the growth and adoption of volleyball among the rural communities in the state of Assam will be promoted. The Brahmaputra Volleyball League (BVL) was founded in 2020, by former captain of the Indian Volleyball Team – Abhijit Bhattacharya. Infosys Foundation and Go Sports Foundation focus on aspiring women athletes across India and jointly launch ‘Girls for Gold’ Program.’ The philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys – Infosys Foundation, recently partnered with Go Sports Foundation to build a high performing excellence program for emerging and junior women athletes. This “Girls for Gold “program with an initial term of 4 years will zero down on talented women athletes in the age group of 13 – 19 years and through partnerships with coaches and reputed academies in India. ‘Sports Lab’ for budding athletes launched in Punjab, by Hyundai Motor India Foundation

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has launched a new CSR initiative through its CSR arm HMIL (Hyundai Motor India Foundation), in Punjab. The “Sports Lab “project, will enrol 2000 students from 20 schools, across Punjab. Budding athletes will be trained in various sports disciplines. Their advanced training choice covers Cricket, Hockey, Wrestling, Yoga, Softball, Football and Handball. This project has a gender diverse grassroots participation from 5th to 8th standard students. Rural youth will also be counselled on career opportunities in sports. News Update/ Press Release India,3rd September, 2021- HCL Foundation (HCLF), the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of HCL Technologies, has flagged off a Sports for change (SFC) team Bus in Chennai, Tamil Nadu under its flagship program Sports for Change. The SFC team bus will enable students to travel and participate in competitions, attend coaching and training around the city. Furthermore, the bus will also help to promote campaigns and spread awareness about sports in the communities and schools.
