Priyanka Chopra – A Padma Shri with Hollywood Dreams

Success isn’t new to Priyanka Chopra. Ever since she won the Miss World pageant in 2000, she has been setting new milestones for herself. In a career spanning 13 years, she has won a National Award for her role in Fashion (2009), and has successfully ventured into the international arena with her music album, which saw the actress singing for the first time. Priyanka, successfully worked in American sitcom, Quantico and gear up for second seasonof this show. She is also roped in by the Baywatch cast to play a negative role in the film. The Hollywood film also stars Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Dwayne Johnson. But this January,the actor took her tally of achievements to a whole new level. In January, Priyanka bagged multiple awards for her performance in Bajirao Mastani (2015) and was announced the recipient of the Padma Shri.Priyanka Chopra makes India proud at the 88th Academy Awards. She was the only Indian presenter at the 88th Academy Awards. She has made the country proud with her achievements in the international arena. She was introduced as a ‘veteran of over 50 Bollywood films’.

She is also associated with “Save Girl” campaign.
