Tata Power extends support to public hospitals in Mulshi, Pune
Mumbai & Pune, 21st May 2021: As India fights the grave pandemic situation, Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility, today, donated over 40 Oxygen cylinders of 47 Liters (7 Cubic) each in response to the urgency of procuring oxygen cylinders for hospitals in Mulshi, Pune. The team from Tata Power’s Hydro division handed over these cylinders to Shri Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra at Vidhan Bhavan in Pune.
“Ever since the country was hit by the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, we have ramped up our efforts through our Community Development Trust to support the regional authorities and public health ecosystem to battle against the pandemic. With several macro challenges w.r.t. testing, vaccination, mindsets & awareness, hospital beds, medicines and oxygen running out in various states. Tata Power has been extending support in areas of strengthening local public health ecosystems, making & distributing high quality filter-based masks, donation of COVID resilience kits & home isolation support kits to community institutions and strengthening tele helplines for COVID care; thereby extending its share of contribution towards the fight against this pandemic.
