03rd October 2024: APM Terminals Pipavav inaugurated the Jhaverchand Meghani Learning Resource Centre in Thavi, a sub-village of Bherai, as part of its ongoing commitment to education and community development. The centre, named after renowned Gujarati laureate Shri Jhaverchand Meghani, will provide quality education to over 40 children from underprivileged families in the area.

This new facility is part of APM Terminals Pipavav’s broader commitment to education through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. These comprehensive educational activities include Project Gyanjyot, Mobile Science & Maths Lab, and remedial education for academic performance improvement, digital classrooms, and adult literacy programs.

Additionally, APM Terminals Pipavav organizes parenting sessions, one-on-one counselling, inter-village sports days, and provides educator support to local schools. The company has also invested in developing computer labs, libraries, and sports grounds in the surrounding villages to enhance the overall educational experience.
