The Power of One educational trust marks the completion of its 7th year – 274 needy students sponsored so far! 

                11 October, 2023: The Power of One educational trust was established in 2016 by Prasad Narayan and his wife, Rekha Krishnan. The trust assists students who are keen to pursue a college degree but are unable to do so due to financial constraints. Since the academic year 2017-18, the trust has so far sponsored 274 students by paying tuition fees to the tune of Rs. 23 Lakhs across several colleges. The Founders say that this would not have been possible without the contribution of friends, family & well-wishers. Walplast Welfare Foundation and Nanhi Kali Collaborate in an inaugural event to boost education for the underprivileged girls

28 September, 2023: DryChem India Pvt Ltd Group of companies in the manufacturing of building construction materials segment has its’ CSR arm – Walplast Welfare Foundation (WWF). This foundation collaborated with a nonprofit organisation Project Nahi Kali for an inaugural event in Palghar. Project Nanhi Kali, works towards providing high quality education and assistance to the underprivileged children nationwide.  The event in Palghar, Navi Mumbai saw a turnout of 60 participants of the Nanhi Kali program, who were accompanied by their parents, representatives of Dry Chem Indi Pvt Ltd and Nanhi Kali Foundation as well as community partners. IIT BOMBAY’S EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH INITIATIVE –  WISE, RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM TECNIMONT PVT.LTD.

1 June, 2023: Girls from the rural parts of India, will now receive funding support from Tecnimont Pvt.Ltd, in engineering and science disciplines through IIT Bombay’s educational outreach initiative – WISE. TCMPL or Tecnimont Private Limited, is a subsidiary of MAIRE Group. Prof. Rajesh Zele, from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Bombay is leading this initiative which involves 165 girls. These girls will be encouraged to go through a week long intensive residential programme at IIT Bombay in STEM as part of their higher education.
