Geojit introduces an exciting scholarship scheme for professional courses

3rd June 2024: A scholarship program has been introduced by well-known investment services company Geojit Financial Services Ltd. to assist worthy students from economically disadvantaged groups in their pursuit of career-oriented courses in a variety of subject areas. As part of this initiative, Geojit will provide selected students with up to Rs. 25,000 per year to help with tuition, exam fees, and other educational costs. Students who have finished X and XII with at least 80% of the possible points are eligible for the scholarship. To guarantee that the financial aid reaches the people who need it most, applicants’ annual family income cannot exceed Rs. 3 lakh. Rotary-led water conservation program ‘Partners for Water Access and Better Harvests in India’ awarded US $2 million to help farmers in India

May 29, 2024 — With limited irrigation facilities in India, many farmers are dependent on rainfall, leaving them vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Extreme weather events like droughts, floods, and storms affect soil fertility, crop yields and livestock production – all of which have led to reduced productivity and income for farmers. For ‘Hunger Free World’, Malabar Group initiates the program and distributes 51,000 nutritious food packets every day  

28 May 2024:  In the ongoing CSR program by Malabar Group, ‘Hunger Free World’ to provide nutritious meals daily to the needy, they will be expanding to cover more people and cities. At present, as many as 31,000 food packets are distributed under the ambitious program, which was initiated to support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals 2 and Zero Hunger. The event focused on raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and empowering women through informative and personalized sessions, along with the distribution of sustainable sanitary pads to a large chunk of their female workforce at the factory. May 20, 2024: Greenpeace India unveiled a stunning ice sculpture at the Select City Mall, Saket, that gradually melted under the hot Delhi sun, sending out a strong message on the impact of heat waves across the country.
