Tata Motors ‘Automotive Skill Labs initiative nurtures over 4000 students annually with future-ready automotive skills

15th July 2024: Reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent and creating a skilled workforce for the automotive industry, Tata Motors in collaboration with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has established dedicated ‘Automotive Skill Labs’ at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs). To date, 25 labs, fully equipped with essential tools, have been set up across select JNVs in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Sembcorp installs a 60 KW solar power system in Sri Sathya Sai Karunyaniketanam Gurukul, Tumakuru, Karnataka

12th July 2024: Green Infrastructure Renewable Energy Limited and Yarrow Infrastructure Private Limited, subsidiaries of Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp), have installed a 60KWp rooftop solar power system for Sri Sathya Sai Karunyaniketanam Gurukul in Tumakuru, Karnataka, a school for underprivileged children. The rooftop solar power system was inaugurated by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, founder of Sri Madhusudan Sai Global humanitarian mission. The ceremony was attended by senior government dignitaries including Sri T.B. Jayachandra, Karnataka’s Special Representative to Delhi and Sira Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), and Shri CB Suresh Babu, Chikkanayakanahalli MLA. ABB India supports educational programs in 148 government schools in Karnataka

12th July 2024: ABB India announced the expansion of two educational programs as part of its CSR initiatives to support inclusive and equitable education. These programs, which were being run in 98 schools in Nelamangala, will now also expand to 50 schools in Peenya starting this academic year reaching a total of 148 schools and around 10,000 students from Peenya and Nelamangala.
