06th September 2024: The Tribal Area Development Department, under the Government of Rajasthan, signed MoU with Magic Bus India Foundation to introduce life skills education into the curriculum of Ashram Hostels and Residential Schools. This collaboration will equip approximately 42,000 adolescents with life skills through a teacher and warden-led, activity-based life skills education programme tailored to the specific needs of the State’s tribal communities, across 440 Ashram Hostels and 53 Residential Schools in 25 districts, ensuring that life skills education reaches some of the most underprivileged population in the state. 7 August 2024: Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the CSR implementing agency of Kotak Mahindra Group, announced 500 scholarships under the Kotak Kanya Scholarship program, doubling the number of scholars as it enters its 4th year, to support higher education of meritorious girls from economically disadvantaged section across India. The scholarship program aims to empower the girl students by providing them with financial support of INR 1,50,000 per year across 4 – 5 years, enabling them to pursue their higher education without financial constraints. 5 August 2024: Reckitt, a consumer health and hygiene company, has launched the Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme in Delhi under its flagship campaign, Dettol Banega Swasth India. In collaboration with Jagran Pehel, the social initiative arm of Dainik Jagran, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to implement the campaign across MCD schools in 12 zones of Delhi.
