Ambulance Service for patients in need of Palliative Care

Kochi, September 24, 2021: Muthoot Finance Ltd., India’s largest gold loan NBFC, as part of its CSR initiative, donated an ambulance to the Indira Gandhi Co-operative Hospital (IGCH), Kadavanthra. Muthoot Finance Ltd. donated the ambulance to IGCH on September 24th, 2021 as part of their CSR effort to improve the transport and care of patients that require palliative care.

Mr. George M. George, Executive Director, Muthoot Finance said, “The core objective of Muthoot Finance CSR projects and donations is to protect and help the members of our society. We will expand such CSR donations to other states in the upcoming months.”

Mr. George M. George, Executive Director, Muthoot Finance Ltd. along with Mr. Hibi Eden, MP, Ernakulam handed over the key of the Ambulance to Mr. M. O. John, President, IGCH. The RC Book of the Ambulance was handed over by Mr. T. J. Vinod, MLA, Ernakulam. Renowned Oncologist Dr. V. P. Gangadharan flagged off the Ambulance, during the function organized at Indira Gandhi Co-operative Hospital (IGCH), Kadavanthra. Mr. Ajay Tharayil, Secretary IGCH, Mr. Babu John Malayil, CSR Head, Muthoot Finance Ltd., Mr. Kuriakose Anthony, President, Rotary Club of Cochin East were also present in the function. 

Muthoot Finance aims to help the medical fraternity by reaching out to more people in the near future, with the help of our ongoing CSR initiatives
