5 October, 2023 :A Youth Empowerment Program for the skill development of marginalized youth across 6 states in India, has been launched by RHI Magnesita India. This initiative has taken shape through a partnership between RH Magnesita India, a manufacturer and supplier of high-grade refractory products, systems and solutions and Don Bosco Tech Society. This forms a part of the corporate social responsibility outreach of RHI Magnesita India. This significant step will bridge the widening skill gap and the provision of employment opportunities to the NEET youth, or those who are “Not in Education, Employment or Training.”
The first batch under this initiative started recently at the Don Bosco Tech Najafgarh centre in New Delhi.
Women in the age group of 18-35 will benefit through this. They will get empowered with the requisite skills that are needed to succeed in the competitive job market today.
This collaboration will see the training of more than 700 students across six Indian states. These Indian states are – Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi and Chhattisgarh.
MD & CEO of RHI Magnesita India Parmod Sagar said that at RHI Magnesita India, they seek to impact society positively in the communities that they live and operate in. They were excited to engage in the partnership with Don Bosco Tech Society and women empowerment was a top priority in their social responsibility programmes, as well, he added.

They aim to create a sustainable impact. The main objectives of this programme are – targeted skill training, and integration of women.
