16th April 2025: Technip Energies, a global technology and engineering powerhouse, has announced the third edition of its India Scholarship Program awardees for the academic year 2024–25. Under the aegis of the company’s CSR initiative of ‘Enabling STEM Learning for Girls’, 100 meritorious students received a scholarship grant of INR 30,000 to continue their academic journey.
Every year, meritorious women engineers from an economically disadvantaged section of the society enrolled in 1st year of Engineering are selected based on a rigorous evaluation process, which includes verification of academic performance, enrollment status, and income eligibility. This year, Technip Energies continued supporting 100 women engineers from previous batches, now in their 2nd and 3rd year, to ensure the continuity of their engineering studies.
Speaking at the felicitation ceremony, Mr. Davendra Kumar, Managing Director, India, said, “At Technip Energies, we firmly believe that empowering young women in STEM is not just an investment in their futures but in the progress of our industry and society. By breaking financial barriers, we are nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders who will drive sustainable solutions. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion remains unwavering, as we continue to build a brighter, more equitable future together.”
The scholarship program includes webinars, counselling sessions, and experience-sharing forums where women engineers from Technip Energies mentor and guide the students. This initiative empowers young women to pursue and persist in core STEM fields, supporting not just their education but also their long-term potential as future leaders in engineering.
The program, initiated by Technip Energies, aligns with the company’s commitment to fostering Gender Equality, a key Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations. To date, Technip Energies’ scholarship program has successfully supported over 250 female students in STEM.
