On the occasion of 42nd HCL Day celebrations, HCL Foundation today organised a Mega-Plantation Drive at the “SORKHA UPVAN” (Urban Forest), Noida. This was the environment initiative under HCL Uday. Quote of Shri Brajesh Narain Singh, District Magistrate Noida:

“I congratulate HCL Technologies and HCL Foundation for this plantation drive. HCL Technologies has over the years invested in two critical areas, that are, education and environment. They adopted 36 schools in Noida district and we can see the difference in the quality of education imparted to the children. Their intervention for greening the environment and plantation drive has been very successful. I would also like to congratulate HCL Technologies on its 42nd birthday.

It’s commendable that HCL has taken forward this campaign along with the local community. I urge other industries of Noida also to come forward and see the initiatives of HCL Technologies in these areas and partner with the government for more such campaigns.

The hon’ble Chief Minister has recently started a plantation drive campaign and I will request HCL Technologies to conduct another plantation drive on 15th of August.”
