Astrotalk Foundation commits INR 20 Lakh towards education and empowerment

April 29, 2026: Astrotalk Foundation, the non-profit arm of Astrotalk, has committed INR 20,00,000 towards scholarships aimed at supporting underprivileged students and recognising academically excelling individuals, as part of its ongoing efforts to drive education-led social upliftment.

Through this initiative, approximately 200 students across Bengaluru have received financial assistance, helping them continue their education without the burden of economic constraints.

The scholarships were distributed recently in collaboration with Nava Bengaluru Foundation at Sri Satya Sai Sadan, Koramangala, in the presence of actors Anil Shetty, Manushi Chhillar and other dignitaries, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in advancing social impact.

Speaking about the initiative, Puneet Gupta, Founder and CEO of Astrotalk, said: “At Astrotalk Foundation, we believe that access to education should not be determined by circumstance. Our focus is on supporting students who need it the most, while also encouraging those who demonstrate academic excellence. This initiative reflects our larger vision of enabling opportunity, nurturing potential, and contributing to a more equitable future.”

In a country where access to quality education remains uneven, particularly for students from economically weaker sections, initiatives like these play a critical role in bridging opportunity gaps. Astrotalk Foundation’s contribution is anchored in the belief that education is a key driver of long- term empowerment, capable of transforming not just individual lives but entire communities.
