Gurugram, June 5, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, Signature Global celebrated World Environment Day 2026 through a series of impactful initiatives across its project sites and communities in Gurugram. The flagship event was organized at Sector 88, Navada Fatehpur Cricket Stadium, Gurugram, along with activities conducted across the company’s construction sites.
As part of the celebrations, Signature Global carried out a large-scale plantation drive, awareness sessions on environmental conservation, distribution of reusable cloth bags to discourage plastic usage, painting activities focused on sustainability themes, and community engagement programs aimed at promoting greener lifestyles.
The plantation drive forms part of Signature Global’s ongoing “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, under which the company has pledged to plant 25,000 trees, contributing significantly to ecological restoration and the creation of healthier urban environments. More than 500 saplings were planted during today’s drive alone.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 6,000 people, including employees, construction workers, volunteers, local residents, and community members, reflecting a shared commitment towards environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global, said:
“Climate change has fundamentally changed the way we think about growth and development. Today, the question is not whether we should build, but how we can build responsibly. The cities of the future must balance progress with sustainability because long-term growth is only possible when we protect the environment that supports it.
At Signature Global, sustainability is not limited to policies or commitments—it is reflected in our actions. Through initiatives like ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam,’ under which we aim to plant 25,000 trees, we are contributing to a greener future while encouraging collective responsibility. Environmental conservation requires participation from every individual, organization, and community, and World Environment Day serves as a reminder that even small actions can create a lasting impact.”
Complementing the plantation drive, environmental awareness sessions educated participants on reducing plastic consumption, adopting sustainable alternatives, and embracing environmentally responsible practices in daily life. The distribution of cloth bags further reinforced the message of reducing single-use plastic dependency, while painting activities engaged participants in creatively expressing their vision for a cleaner and greener planet.
These initiatives align with Signature Global’s broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments and reflect the company’s vision of creating sustainable communities beyond real estate development.
Through these collective efforts, Signature Global continues to strengthen environmental consciousness, community engagement, and responsible growth, contributing meaningfully to India’s sustainable development journey.
