Implemented in collaboration with Anandaya  Foundation, the initiative aims to strengthen foundational learning by providing students with dedicated  spaces that encourage reading, creativity, and exploration.

The libraries were inaugurated in the presence of Shri Nikhil Tiwari, Director (Education), MCD, along  with Mr. Anil Kumar, DDE (R&E), and Ms. Rupa Sinha, Executive Director, Chaitanya Projects Consultancy  Limited. School principals, teachers, and students also participated in the event.

Designed as engaging learning environments, the newly established libraries offer children access to a  diverse collection of books across subjects and interests. During the inauguration, students  enthusiastically explored the bookshelves and reading corners, reflecting the positive impact such  spaces can have on young learners.

For many educators, the initiative marked the realization of a long-standing aspiration. One of the  school principals shared that the school community had eagerly awaited a library of its own,  underscoring the value of creating enriching educational spaces beyond the classroom. Students also  expressed excitement about having a dedicated place to discover new ideas and engage with books.

Ms. Rupa Sinha, Executive Director, Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited (CPCL), said, “Education  has the power to transform lives, and books play a vital role in shaping young minds. Through Project  Pustakalaya, we wanted to create spaces where children can discover new ideas, expand their  perspectives, and develop a lasting connection with learning. These libraries are an investment in the  future, helping nurture creativity, confidence, and curiosity among students. At CPCL, we believe that  creating meaningful impact goes beyond infrastructure development and extends to strengthening  communities through education and opportunity. Supporting initiatives such as Project Pustakalaya  reflects our commitment to empowering young learners and contributing to a brighter future for the  communities we serve. We hope this initiative inspires many children to unlock their potential and pursue  their aspirations.”
