Driven by the belief that true progress must be inclusive, Signature Global Foundation is working to bridge critical gaps in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Through impactful initiatives such as Project Paathshala, Jagruk Beti, Swastha Beti, Aarogyarise, Mass Marriage, and Roots for Change, the Foundation is creating meaningful opportunities for underserved communities while fostering long-term social transformation. In this interaction with CSR Times, Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman, Signature Global, discusses the foundation’s journey, its flagship initiatives, and its vision for creating sustainable and inclusive social change.

1. Signature Global Foundation has emerged as a strong force for community development, touching thousands of lives through its initiatives. To begin, could you share the inspiration behind establishing the Foundation and the vision that continues to guide its work towards creating inclusive and sustainable social impact?

Signature Global Foundation was established with the belief that growth should be inclusive and benefit every section of society. While Signature Global contributes to nation-building through housing and infrastructure, the Foundation was created to address important social challenges related to education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Our vision is to create opportunities for underserved communities and help people lead healthier, more dignified, and empowered lives. Every initiative is driven by the belief that meaningful change happens when we work closely with communities and create long-term impact.

2. Project Paathshala is helping shape the future of young learners. Looking beyond the numbers, what has been the most meaningful transformation you have witnessed through this initiative?

The most meaningful transformation has been seeing children become more confident and motivated to pursue their education. Through Project Paathshala, we have supported over 80,000 students across government schools, but the real impact goes beyond numbers. We have seen students who once struggled with basic resources attend school regularly, participate actively in classrooms, and dream bigger about their future. Watching children gain confidence and develop a positive outlook towards education is truly rewarding.

3. How is your initiative Jagruk Beti, Swastha Beti initiative helping empower young girls?

Jagruk Beti, Swastha Beti focuses on empowering adolescent girls by addressing health, hygiene, and awareness gaps that often affect their education and overall well-being. Through hygiene kits, health check-ups, nutrition counselling, and awareness sessions, we are helping young girls make informed decisions about their health and future. More importantly, the initiative encourages confidence and self-belief, enabling girls to continue their education and pursue opportunities without barriers.

4. Aarogyarise brings healthcare directly to communities that are often left behind. How do you ensure that a mobile consultation becomes part of a sustained journey toward better health and well-being?

Our objective is not just to provide one-time medical support but to create lasting healthcare access. Through Aarogyarise, our mobile medical units regularly visit communities and provide consultations, preventive care, health awareness, and follow-up support. We focus on early diagnosis, continuous engagement, and health education so that people can take better care of themselves and their families. By building trust and maintaining regular interaction with communities, we encourage healthier habits and long-term well-being.

5. What was the thought behind launching the Foundation’s Mass Marriage initiative?

The Mass Marriage initiative was launched with the aim of supporting underprivileged families and ensuring that financial challenges do not become a burden during an important life milestone. Many families struggle with the costs associated with weddings. Through this initiative, we seek to provide dignity, support, and a respectful beginning for couples as they start a new chapter in their lives. It is not just about conducting marriages; it is about promoting social inclusion, reducing financial stress, and strengthening community bonds.

6. Environmental sustainability is becoming an important part of community development. How is Signature Global Foundation contributing towards a greener future?

Environmental responsibility is a key pillar of our community development efforts. Through our Roots for Change initiative, we aim to increase green cover and encourage environmental awareness among citizens, especially young people. In 2025, we have committed to planting 25,000 trees across urban and semi-urban areas, while also involving schools and local communities in plantation drives. Beyond tree plantation, we support cleanliness campaigns, water conservation efforts, and awareness programmes that promote sustainable living. We believe that building a greener future requires collective action, and we are committed to creating environmentally conscious communities for generations to come.

7. Is there a beneficiary story that truly reflects the impact of Signature Global Foundation’s work?

There are many inspiring stories that reflect the impact of our work. One that stands out is that of a young girl who participated in our Jagruk Beti, Swastha Beti programme. Initially shy and hesitant, she gained confidence through health awareness sessions and continued support from the programme. She became more regular in school, encouraged other girls to focus on hygiene and education, and emerged as a role model within her community. Stories like these remind us that even small interventions can create a ripple effect of positive change.

8. Looking ahead, which community challenge does the Foundation feel is still most underserved and what is the next big initiative on the horizon?

While significant progress has been made, access to quality education, healthcare, and environmental awareness continues to remain a challenge for many underserved communities. Going forward, we want to deepen our impact in these areas while expanding our environmental initiatives. One of our key focus areas is Roots for Change, through which we aim to plant 25,000 trees and encourage community participation in environmental conservation. We also plan to strengthen our education and healthcare programmes so that more families can benefit from sustainable and long-term support.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to building stronger, healthier, and more inclusive communities for the future.
