A disability Evangelist wins INR 25,00,000 at Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Karamveer special

Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 has begun with its special karamveer episodes that bring forth change makers and fighters who make a difference in real life.

The quiz show’s recent episode honoured India’s disabled with a special episode of ‘Karamveer’ featuring Dr.Jitender Aggarwal & Dr.Suman Aggarwal from Sarthak Educational Trust who has shaped the organisation over the past decade to enable people with disabilities to become economically self-sufficient.

Hosted by Bollywood superstar Mr. Amitabh Bachchan the show was telecast on November 27, 2020. In the ‘Karamveer’ special series, the show is inviting people from different walks of life who have played a crucial role in changing the lives of lakhs of people. Dr.Jitender Aggarwal, a practicing dentist who became a disability rights activist when he gradually lost vision to muscular degeneration of retina in 2004, says that he was moved by the plight of Divyangs and was determined to establish a foundation which can help make these people empower economically.

The duo won INR 25 Lakh and will be utilizing this amount for the upliftment of the Persons with Disability.
