ASUS Foundation Donation Drive KV - Abhinav SoniLadakh, 3rd July 2026: Continuing its commitment to bridging India’s digital divide, ASUS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of ASUS, has donated 25 ASUS All in One (AiO) systems to Jamyang School in Leh, Ladakh, further strengthening the school’s digital learning infrastructure. Building on last year’s initiative, the donation reinforces ASUS Foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve access to technology in underserved regions and equip students with the tools needed for future-ready education.

Through its ASUS AiO portfolio, ASUS is deeply committed to driving educational and economic advancement by empowering schools, educational institutions, SMBs with innovative ASUS All-in-One PC solutions that help build robust local digital infrastructure. By partnering closely with local communities to strengthen their digital environments, ASUS aims to bridge the digital divide, enabling greater connectivity, expanding access to opportunities, and supporting sustainable growth across underserved regions.

The donation was commemorated through a special ceremony held on July 3 at Jamyang School, where ASUS Foundation inaugurated the school’s expanded computer lab powered by the newly donated ASUS AiO systems. The newly enhanced computer lab will serve as a dedicated space for students to develop digital skills, enabling greater access to technology-driven learning and supporting the foundation of essential computing capabilities.

The donated ASUS V470VAB All-in-One PCs are designed to make learning more accessible, collaborative, and engaging. Featuring a large 27-inch display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle, the systems enable students to comfortably participate in digital lessons, conduct research, create presentations, and build essential digital skills. Bundled with Microsoft Office Home 2024, along with an integrated webcam and speakers for seamless online learning and virtual collaboration, the ASUS All-in-One PCs provide students with the tools they need to learn, create, and prepare for the future—For Home. For Work. For All.

Alongside the donation, ASUS India employees and volunteers from ASUS Foundation also conducted an AI Applications Course for students, introducing them to practical, real-world applications of artificial intelligence and the evolving role of AI in education. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on learning sessions, students were familiarized with fundamental AI concepts and digital tools, encouraging curiosity and helping them build confidence in using emerging technologies.

Speaking on the initiative, Eric Ou, South Asia Regional Director, ASUS, said, “At ASUS, we believe that access to technology can create lasting opportunities for students and communities. Through the ASUS Foundation, we remain committed to supporting India’s education ecosystem by strengthening digital infrastructure and expanding access to technology beyond Tier 1 cities into underserved and remote regions such as Ladakh. By equipping schools with reliable computing solutions and introducing students to emerging technologies like AI, we hope to contribute towards building future-ready skills while helping bridge India’s digital divide.”

Mr. Tsering Tundup, Principal, Jamyang School said, Today is a special milestone for our students and teachers at Jamyang School. In a region like Ladakh, where access to advanced digital resources can often be challenging, initiatives like this create new opportunities for learning, creativity, and growth. The support from ASUS Foundation not only strengthens our computer lab infrastructure but also inspires our students to explore emerging technologies such as AI with confidence and curiosity. We are thankful to ASUS Foundation for believing in the potential of students in remote regions and for helping us prepare them for a more connected and technology-driven future.”

The initiative builds on ASUS Foundation’s broader commitment to advancing digital inclusion and equitable access to technology across India. Earlier this year, ASUS India marked one year of its digital literacy initiative with VIDYA Foundation, empowering over 14,000 children, youth, and women beneficiaries across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa through digital learning programs, computer labs, and future-ready skill development. ASUS Foundation remains committed to bridging India’s digital divide by expanding access to technology and empowering underserved communities through education.
