5th June 2026, Ahmedabad, India – Marking World Environment Day, Cadila Pharmaceuticals reaffirmed its strong commitment to environmental sustainability by planting more than 2,000 fruit-bearing and other native plants in a single day across its key locations, including Shantivan – Dholka, Hirapur, Kadi, and other operational sites.
The large-scale plantation drive was undertaken as a unified, organization-wide initiative, symbolizing Cadila Pharmaceuticals’ belief that meaningful environmental action requires collective effort and timely execution. By completing the plantation in one day, the company demonstrated its resolve to translate sustainability intent into swift and tangible impact.
The initiative focused on planting fruit-bearing trees and indigenous plant species that contribute to biodiversity conservation, carbon sequestration, soil enrichment, and long-term ecological balance. These plantations were carried out across manufacturing units, campuses, and surrounding areas, ensuring benefits for both the environment and local communities.
