4th March 2024: The Government of India’s implementing partner for the mid-may meal project, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, hosted Music for Meals, which is an annual mega event, featuring Vijay Prakash, renowned playback singer of ‘Singara Siriye’ (Kantara) fame, and Pravin Godkhindi, acclaimed Indian Classical Hindustani Flute Player. The event was aimed to blend the harmony of music with the mission of feeding millions of children in need. The concert started with Sri Pravin Godkhindi’s harmonious jugalbandi with his son, Sri Shadaj Godkhindi, wherein they performed Pahadi raga. 4th March 2024: Under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICAPS), which is an investment banking subsidiary of State Bank of India, has collaborated with the Maharashtra Government under their Chief Minister’s ‘Janakalyan Kaksha’ i.e. Public Welfare Department.   Under this initiative of SBICAPS and their NGO partner Sahakar Deogiri Foundation, which is a Mumbai-based NGO, they have agreed to distribute a multi-utility, which is portable desk bags to over 3000 under-privileged children of Anganwadi across Thane and Palghar districts. 29th February 2024: A leading diversified technology company, Panasonic Eco Relay, under the umbrella of Panasonic in India organized a tree plantation project in the Daulatpur area where the Delhi Govt is developing an educational and eco-tourism site for the entire Southwest Delhi region where there are 48 government schools with over 15,000 children. This project will generate livelihood within the local communities in the areas of nursery management, plantation, and aftercare.
