28th October 2024: SMFG India Credit (SMICC), a leading non-banking financial company initiated its employee-centric initiative, ‘Ek Muthi Chawal’. The initiative allows employees of SMFG India Credit an opportunity to spread festive cheers by donating rice, wheat, and pulses which will help feed children and elderly in old age homes for a month. Donations received during this initiative go directly to a partner NGO and are utilized to benefit children and elderly people. The company has set an ambitious target for the 5th edition of Ek Muthi Chawal with the aim to donate 60,000 kg of rice, grains & pulses to over 12,000+ employees across 21 states. 17th October 2024: To celebrate the festival of lights, Girnar Foundation, the CSR arm of CarDekho Group, conducted a Diwali: Box of Joy distribution drive in Jaipur and Gurugram. The Foundation distributed 500 Diwali hampers, with 250 hampers allocated to each location. The hampers contained sweets, crackers, candles, diyas, LED lights, and clothes designed to light up the festive season for underprivileged people.
