Environmental conservation begins with collective action and conscious efforts towards protecting the ecosystems that form the backbone of a city’s natural heritage.  On the occasion of World Environment Day, ITC Maratha, in collaboration with the Maharashtra State Angling Association (MSAA), is organizing a Powai Lake Clean-Up & Rejuvenation Drive, a focused initiative dedicated to environmental awareness, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable community action. Centered around the preservation of one of Mumbai’s key ecological landmarks, the initiative aims to spotlight the urgent need for reducing plastic pollution, conserving aquatic biodiversity, and encouraging responsible environmental practices through active community participation.
