HCL Foundation to start organizing Pan-India E-Symposiums for capacity building of NGOs under Edition VII for HCL Grant

MacKenzie Scott gives a generous grant to The/Nudge Foundation to accelerate its poverty mitigation efforts

News Update/ Press Release 17 June, 2021, New Delhi: The/Nudge Foundation  announced that it has received a grant from American philanthropist and novelist MacKenzie Scott and husband Dan Jewett, in recognition of their work against social and economic inequities in India. The/Nudge has been selected by MacKenzie after scrutinizing various aspects of research and impact evaluation as one among the world’s 286 high-impact organizations. A total of $2.7B was donated by MacKenzie to the chosen nonprofits, each receiving a significant donation as a “signal of trust and encouragement”, remarked MacKenzie. Around 58,887 microentrepreneurs trained by EDII under Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) since onset of pandemic

News Update/Press Release Mumbai, June 14, 2021: Around 58,887 rural entrepreneurs under Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP), a sub-scheme of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM), Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India have been trained by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) (EDII is designated as National Resource Organisation(NRO) for implementation of non-farm projects and currently associated with 15 State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM)) in multiple employment generating activities amid this pandemic. The objective of this programme is to help these micro-entrepreneurs and their family members to setup small enterprises in rural areas under non-farm sector. CBM India with support of Fullerton India launches low-cost Vision Care Centres in rural India

News Update/ Press Release April 2021, India: CBM India with the support of Fullerton India has equipped two more vision centres in Haryana and Karnataka in their fight to reduce avoidable blindness and vision impairment in rural India. These would be the first primary screening facilities initiated by RIO Rohtak and RIO Bangalore at primary health centres in rural districts. Dry and Wet Waste Collection centre to benefit 18 villages in North Bengaluru soon

Lenovo’s new venture on the brink of empowering students.

PRESS RELEASE Bangalore, 21, December 2020 – Lenovo, the global technology leader has collaborated with Meghshala Trust, a not-for-profit,in order to promote education technology and to reinforce teacher training and value education systems across India.
