Fixderma Marks UV Safety Month by Empowering Young Minds with Skincare Education at Pehchan NGO

The initiative focused on introducing young participants to the basics of skin health, helping them understand the impact of everyday sun exposure, the importance of year-round UV protection and the role simple daily skincare habits play in maintaining healthy skin over time. Through interactive discussions and engaging demonstrations, the session encouraged children to view skincare not as a cosmetic practice, but as an essential part of overall health and self-care.

To reinforce these learnings, Fixderma distributed Shadow SPF 50 Gel Kids, its sunscreen specially formulated for children, while demonstrating the correct way to apply sunscreen and explaining how small daily habits can help protect the skin during outdoor activities, school hours and playtime.

The programme concluded with a creative workshop that encouraged children to express what they had learnt in their own unique way. Using paper, colours and their imagination, participants designed sunscreen packaging inspired by the day’s session, creating vibrant illustrations, catchy taglines and thoughtful messages promoting sun safety. The activity not only strengthened their understanding of UV protection but also encouraged creativity, collaboration and confident self-expression.
