‘Push for Change’ program, Panasonic’s new GREEN IMPACT campaign calls for people

7th March 2024: Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND) has launched its latest initiative, the GREEN IMPACT campaign titled “Push for Change,” aimed at rallying the youth to commit to a better future. Through a series of impactful films depicting a dystopian future, the campaign seeks to inspire individuals to take action for a brighter tomorrow.

Each pledge made under this campaign will lead to Panasonic planting a tree, directly contributing to a greener and more sustainable world. Aligned with Panasonic’s broader GREEN IMPACT initiative, which targets a reduction of over 300 million tons of CO2 emissions globally by 2050, this campaign underscores the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Dhiraj Sharma, Head of Marcom and Brand at Panasonic Marketing India, PLSIND, explained, “The Push for Change campaign aims to engage individuals and communities in building a greener future. Through compelling storytelling, we aim to instill a sense of urgency among today’s youth and showcase Panasonic’s dedication to sustainability. By empowering individuals to become agents of change, we strive to create a more sustainable future.”

One of the unique aspects of the Push for Change campaign is its utilization of Generative AI fused with live-action performances to create impactful videos portraying life in the 2090s. These videos depict a future where environmental degradation has led to dire consequences, such as the extinction of various species and the deterioration of outdoor environments. Through characters like Niran, Elara, and Xavian, the campaign sheds light on the potential consequences of inaction on climate change.

Furthermore, Panasonic has unveiled a global campaign video reaffirming its commitment to fostering an eco-friendly future. This involves the development and implementation of green technologies and solutions across various sectors, including businesses, travel, homes, and daily life. The company’s GREEN IMPACT initiative not only encourages individuals to pledge their support for a brighter tomorrow but also inspires them to make significant contributions toward a more sustainable future.

Panasonic has a history of driving eco-consciousness awareness through innovative and engaging initiatives like #DiwaliWaliSafai and #WelcomeToAdulthood. These efforts not only promote sustainable practices but also encourage eco-friendly behaviors through active engagement with customers and communities.
