The Earth Saviours Foundation receives a solar panel system from Innova Solutions in honor of Earth Month and Brightening Futures

26 April 2024: The Earth Saviours Foundation and Innova Solutions, a global provider of digital transformation solutions, joined forces today to celebrate the installation of a 10KVA solar panel system donated by the Innova Foundation, which will supply electricity to the elderly residents of the NGO.

The Earth Saviours Foundation was founded by the late Shri Ravi Kalra with the goals of protecting the environment, helping the poor, and offering a sanctuary to animals that have been mistreated. Around 1,300 people live permanently in the NGO’s shelter homes in Bandhwari Village and Mandawar Village, Distt. Gurugram, Haryana, after the organization began taking in the elderly and vulnerable in 2008.

“We are thrilled to partner with The Earth Saviours Foundation to bring renewable energy solutions to Indians in need,” said Pradeep Yadlapati, President of Innova’s APAC SBU and India Head, speaking from the solar panel ribbon-cutting event. This program is evidence of Innova’s continuous dedication to supporting communities both domestically and abroad. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the people living in The Earth Saviours and encourage environmental sustainability in the area by supplying sustainable power through solar energy.”

The Innova Foundation has partnered with The Earth Saviours Foundation for several years, providing daily meals for the organization’s residents in addition to donating the solar panel system.

Chief Impact Officer Nita Sardana of the Innova Foundation commented on these projects, saying, “At the Innova Foundation, we believe in fostering holistic solutions to address the needs of the communities we serve.”

One exciting example of our diverse approach to transforming social impact is our partnership with The Earth Saviours Foundation. Our commitment to improving the lives of people in India and beyond is demonstrated by the vaccination of 1,300 girls in the area against cervical cancer and the adoption of multiple local schools that require renovation. This solar panel donation represents our ongoing commitment to sustainability and community welfare, aligning with our mission to create lasting change. Working together, hand-in-hand, we can help create a brighter future for all.”
