18th March 2024: Flipkart Foundation and Kineer Services joined hands, for gender sensitization, to launch their program called ‘Trans-formation’, this program aims at uplifting the marginalized transgender community and other members of the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Through this collaboration, the project endeavors to provide comprehensive skills training to 300 transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals, to facilitate successful job placement through dignified employment opportunities. This initiative operates across the states of Delhi and Mumbai, the collaborative efforts underscore a dedication to nurturing the livelihood creation and advancing societal inclusion for LGBTQ+ individuals who will receive tailored support throughout various stages. 15th March 2024: SBI Foundation is inviting applications for the 12th Batch of the SBI Youth for India Fellowship program. The 13-month-long program offers a structured opportunity for educated urban youth – graduates and young professionals – between the ages of 21-32 years, to collaborate with rural communities and 13 reputed NGOs across India to drive meaningful change in society. The project impacts youth in their future academic pursuits. 100+ Fellowship alumni pursued Higher Studies in development domains after their SBI Youth for India Fellowship experience, and about 70% have gone on to pursue meaningful careers in the social sector by working in Rural Development, Public Policy/Governance, Academia, etc., thereby enabling positive change.  05 January 2024— With the belief that Sustainable Is Attainable, Tata Power, One of India’s largest integrated power companies, joined hands with ICICI Foundation, the CSR arm of ICICI Bank and its Group Companies, to launch ‘Project GhanVan’ – a visionary tree plantation programme aimed at fostering environmental conservation. The formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed as a part of the collaboration by senior officials of both the organisations. Over the next three years, the project plans to plant 2.5 lakh indigenous trees across 75 acres of fertile regions in the catchment areas of Tata Power Hydro locations at Bhivpuri, Khopoli and Bhira in Maharashtra, which is part of Western Ghats. 28th December, 2023: The second edition of Literacy India’s flagship event – the Lakshya Career Mela was organised on December 21st and 22nd 2023 at Gurugram. The theme of this year’s event was ““Blueprint for Unlocking Potential to innovate, collaborate, and thrive.” Students aspiring to shape their future careers availed career guidance here. 21 December, 2023: CBM India, a nonprofit organization working towards improving the lives of people with disabilities across India, commemorated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Bengaluru. The event witnessed a turnout of 400 attendees, comprising CBM India staff, local authorities, and persons with disabilities who are actively engaged in the transformative programs of CBM India. The venue for the event held on the 19th of December 2023, was Brundavan School in Jigani Hobali, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru.
