“Threads of Health’’ a Health Awareness Series with 26 kathputlis launched by Rang De Neela

3 August, 2023: Rang De Neela is a unique initiative that addresses health awareness through the use of traditional art forms. It leverages creative artistry and engaging storytelling techniques to further behavioral changes within society and public health education. Its’ latest health awareness series “Threads of Health” that featured a 26 Kathputlis Concept that was curated by Metabolic Sutradhars was launched recently. Bollywood characters and other reputed personalities were the source of inspiration for these Kathputlis. A Symphony of Courage created by harnessing the Power of Music and Art in the Face of Cancer

A Symphony of Courage created by harnessing the Power of Music and Art in the Face of Cancer The First Step Foundation in collaboration with CanSupport NGO for adult cancer patients featured activities to provide a positive and engaging experience for the attendees. The first activity featured a mandala art session. Each caregiver and patient was handed out printed mandala sheets and colours. They were then given the opportunity of filling their mandalas with colours, expressing their creativity and enjoying the therapeutic benefits of art. Post the duration of five minutes, they were asked to exchange their sheets with their partner. This was a step towards fostering interaction and connection among the participants. The second activity comprised a musical session.

1st July, 2023:Lack of period education products leads to 1 out of 5 girls in India dropping out of school. Although mother’s are a girl’s first teacher, reports say that 7 out of 10 mothers do not understand the science of periods fully and find it dirty and impure. P&G Whisper and UNESCO have joined forces to raise awareness amongst women in particular, and amongst young school going girls. Over the last 30 years Whisper has been driving menstrual education, distributing free sanitary pads and dispelling myths and taboos related to periods. New Delhi, 3 December 2021: Soothe Healthcare, one of the fastest growing personal hygiene companies in India hosted an awareness workshop on child abuse and menstrual health at their manufacturing facility.
