Tata STRIVE and Wipro GE Healthcare collaborate to train youth for healthcare skills

PRESS RELEASE February 23, 2021: Tata STRIVE and Wipro GE Healthcare today entered into a partnership to skill youth for jobs in the healthcare sector over a period of three years. The agreement aims to skill 6,200 candidates in various technical and operational areas of healthcare. As part of this partnership, Wipro GE Healthcare will design, develop and implement industry-relevant, hands-on training with a goal of achieving gainful employment for these students, many of whom belong to underprivileged sections of society. Metropolis Healthcare Ltd. awards scholarship to 70 medical students under its flagship CSR initiative MedEngage

PRESS RELEASE Mumbai, 17.02.2021: Metropolis Healthcare Ltd., India’s leading diagnostic service provider, awarded scholarship to 70 medical students for the 2nd edition of its annual Medical Talent Outreach Programme, MedEngage. The recipients of the scholarship were awarded a total of INR 50 lakh in recognition of their academic scores, publications, extra-curricular activities and presentations. With the objective to nurture and nourish medical talent in India, this year’s edition of the scholarship summit was held virtually. Over 2000 registrations and 1500 applications from several government and private medical colleges from India were received for the scholarships. Out of these, the jury shortlisted 70 students whose applications were considered unique and innovative. Amongst the winners, 40 students are from government colleges while 30 are from private colleges. NMDC Facilitates Access to Public Healthcare

PRESS RELEASE Karnataka, 4th January, 2021: Shri Sumit Deb, CMD, NMDC flagged off 10 Mobile Medical Units (MMU) to facilitate access to public healthcare in Sandur and Hospet taluks, at Donimalai Complex Karnataka on January 2, 2021.
