A 25KWp Solar project installed for Kerala Museum by Muthoot Finance

    11 September, 2023: One of the oldest art and history museums in Edappally, Kochi will now have solar power for its electricity needs which will result in an annual savings of Rs 5 lakhs.  Muthoot Finance a leading gold loan NBFC, and a flagship company of the Muthoot Group with 20 diversified business divisions, has recently on the 7th September 2023 installed this 25KWp Solar project for this Kerala Museum. This solar project was inaugurated by Shri George M George, Deputy Managing Director of Muthoot Finance. 5th September, 2023: Vision Foundation of India (VFI), India, founded in 1993 by Dr. Kulin Kothari is an NGO working with the aim of providing affordable medical aid and accessible eye care to those in need. A specially curated event “Let’s Empower “was successfully concluded on the 4th of September. This event marked VFI’s commitment to empowering the lives of the visually challenged. SPARSH Foundation offers free joint replacement surgeries for retired teachers in rural areasthrough their Guru Namana program

2 September, 2023 : SPARSH Foundation founded in 2007, a charitable wing of SPARSH Hospitals, conducts multiple social initiatives with the aim of helping the underprivileged.  An initiative launched in 2010 – Guru Namana, identifies retired teachers residing in rural areas and offers them free joint replacement surgeries.  Nearly 800+ teachers have benefitted from this initiative till date ever since the inception of this initiative. Under the Guru Namana program, a 100 percent success rate is achieved in joint replacement surgeries for eligible retired teachers. Screening camps were conducted in Bangalore, Gulbarga and Raichur for the same. St. Jude opens its 42nd Centre for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) pediatric patients in Mumbai

St. Judes India Childcare Centre has recently opened its 42nd BMT Centre in Mira Road Mumbai. This will manage 1000 families across 14 states in India. This Centre will extend free of cost holistic care and administration, as well as cover the accommodation of eight children being treated for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s CTC, PHO & BMT Center. Their families too would be included in the accommodation. 26th August , 2023: A Jan Bhagidari or Community engagement event was organised under India’s G-20 Presidency by The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and Gau Samagra, which is a cooperative society dedicated to cow related products and self-help groups. The 47th anniversary of the HCL Group was marked by the plantation of 47,000+ saplings of different native species trees from across India. HCL Foundation, the CSR arm of HCL Tech, carried out this initiative. Training on Sustainable Farming Practices to be imparted – MOU between LT Foods and ICAR- NCIPM

17 August, 2023: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) – National Research Centre for Integrated Pest Management (NCIPM) and 70-year-old Indian origin FMCG company, LT Foods, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. According to this, 10,000 farmers in the country will be trained on sustainable farming practices. This initiative is part of the ESG Goal of LT Foods to train 50,000 farmers by 2025. The company has till date, trained 20,000 framers all from across India. These farmers were trained under the company’s SRP or Sustainable Rice Production programme.
