Two Government Schools in Gurugram and Faridabad revitalized by FUJIFILM India’s CSR initiative

                                        25 July, 2023:FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd, established in 2008, present in the Healthcare, Materials, and Imaging sectors has announced the successful impact of its latest CSR educational infrastructure transformational initiative. As part of this activity, the company has renovated two schools. FUJIFILM India has refurbished and remodeled the Government Primary School which is located in the heart of Sushant Lok, Gurugram, Haryana into the FUJIFILM India Model School to accomplish this. This is transformed into a modern and inspiring place for the students to thrive. WRI India launches accelerator to offer technical support to ten cities for Clean Air Actions

24th July, 2023:WRI India, an independent charity legally registered as the India Resources Trust, focuses on working towards a low carbon economy and building sustainable and liveable cities. WRI India launched its initiative, ACAAS or the Accelerator for Clean Air Action. The launch took place at the flagship event of WRI India – Connect Karo 2023. This initiative is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, Open Philanthropy and Clean Air Fund. The air quality management practices of ten cities will receive technical support from this accelerator.  ACAAS will help the participating cities of Mumbai, Jalandhar, Pune, Agra, Gorakhpur, Vadodara, Indore, Surat, Ahmedabad and Chennai through this program. The technical support will go towards helping the cities build data based understanding, local capacity

        Four Ponds in Gurugram revived by HDB Financial Services

 21 July, 2023: HDB Financial Services (HDBFS) a non-banking financial institution incorporated in 2007 undertook the complete restoration of four waterbodies in Gurugram as an eco-restoration initiative. The four waterbodies – Sanpka, Kharkari, Tatarpur, and Alipur ponds were revitalised and renewed by HDB as a collaborative effort, along with its CSR Partner Environmentalist Foundation of India. The following key activities constituted the restoration work- Removal of 13.5 tonnes of garbage from the periphery of the lake. Removal of invasive weeds through a manual and mechanical process Excavation of sediment deposited over the years, use of the excavation silt for strengthening the bunds and nesting islands to attract birds Channelizing the flow of water by clearing clocked inlet and outlet channels

Renault Nissan Automotive India to upgrade infrastructure for eight local schools under its ‘Karpom Munneruvom’ CSR initiative

13 July, 2023:The ‘Karpom Munneruvom’ or the Learning for Progress CSR initiative by Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) will see an investment of over INR 1.4 crores. For the Financial year 2023-24, this initiative has undertaken the upgrade of the infrastructure of eight schools in and around Oragadam. Over 2,400 students will benefit from this. In the Financial year 21 & 22 over 6000 students have benefitted from the school upgrade projects of RNAIPL. The classroom construction was inaugurated by the Nissan Global Chief HR Officer. AIIMS collaborates with The Hans Foundation to set up a state-of-the-art Early Childhood Development & Neurorehabilitation Centre at AIIMS, New Delhi               

                                                               12 July, 2023: An agreement to implement the project “Holding Hand in Magical Years: Early Childhood Development & Neurorehabilitation Centre.” was signed between the Hans Foundation & Centre of Excellence and Advanced Research for Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Child Neurology Division, Department of Pediatrics AIIMS. This project will focus on the developmental delay and other neurodevelopmental disorders for approximately 10,000 -12,000 beneficiaries per year, covering children and adolescents.  AIIMS, inside the AIIMS campus will render technical and monitoring support to The Hans Foundation that will be implementing the project. Reckitt aims to save 100,000 lives in 25 districts of UP by expanding ‘Dettol Diarrhoea Net Zero’

10 July, 2023: Reckitt, a global consumer and health, hygiene company has launched phase 2 of ‘Dettol Diarrhoea Net Zero.’ This is a scalable, replicable model based on the WHO-7-point plan that aims to achieve Net Zero Diarrhoeal deaths among under-5 children in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This one-of-a-kind program aims to save 100,000 lives. It will inculcate community engagement by raising community awareness through education on the prevention and treatment of diarrhoea in 25 districts in Uttar Pradesh.
