SRL Diagnostics contributes 2.95cr to ICMR under CSR Commitments

Youth for Seva launches rehabilitation program for orphans during Covid-19

News Update/ Press Release June 23, Bengaluru: Youth for Seva (YFS), the India-wide volunteering movement, today announced the launch of a rehabilitation program for children who have lost either of their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This Pan-India initiative is being launched as part of their Vidya Chetana project in association with Sewa International. While launched especially for children from the economically weaker sections of the society, the initiative will also provide support to a few middle-class families this year. QNET contributes to Project CoHeal providing free Medical Care

News Update/ Press Release Bengaluru, 17 June 2021: QNET, Asia’s leading direct selling company, through its CSR arm, RYTHM Foundation has joined hands with a group of young entrepreneurs in Bangalore to convert a non-operational hospital into a free Covid Care Health Centre through Project CoHeal. The funding from QNET has helped transform the disused Rajiv Gandhi Medical Hospital building in R.T Nagar into a 100-bed Covid Care facility that provides free, round-the-clock care to those who need it the most.  Project CoHeal is the brainchild of the young entrepreneurs behind Bangalore based technology firm Globals Inc who joined hands with the Rotary Club Manyata and Presidency University to launch this as a joint CSR initiative.  Amruta Desai, the Executive Director of Globals explains how the project came into being.

Government of Latvia and UNDP India come together to provide critical medical equipment in Nagaland

News Update/Press Release 17 June 2021, New Delhi, India: The second wave of Covid -19 continues to horrify the residents of India. As a result, it become important to cater the need of the healthcare industry considering the burden the pandemic has brought upon the system.  The Government of Latvia has contributed USD 60,000 for the procurement of these critical medical equipment, as part of the broader European Union’s assistance to India’s response to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds will be used to purchase Indian-made AgVa ventilators. The European Union stands in full solidarity with India to provide support for COVID-19 response through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism and individual government to government and business-to-business partnerships.

MacKenzie Scott gives a generous grant to The/Nudge Foundation to accelerate its poverty mitigation efforts

News Update/ Press Release 17 June, 2021, New Delhi: The/Nudge Foundation  announced that it has received a grant from American philanthropist and novelist MacKenzie Scott and husband Dan Jewett, in recognition of their work against social and economic inequities in India.
