21st December, 2023: Avashya Foundation, the CSR arm of Allcargo Group, an Indian born global logistics conglomerate successfully completed its Women Empowerment and Livelihood project for the marginalized women in Maharashtra. Under this project, the women from the underprivileged communities in Maharashtra, were offered three months basic and advanced tailoring and personality development training. The marginalized and underprivileged women at Dhamani and its surrounding villages – Panvel, taluka in Raigad district and Ishwar Nagar in Digha and Navi Mumbai benefitted from this in terms of upliftment and empowerment. Sankalp Manav Vikas Sanstha an NGO that is working towards socio-economic upliftment by promoting textile-based entrepreneurship for the underprivileged communities in Maharashtra, had collaborated in the implementation of this initiative.
