29th February 2024:  A leading LearnTech start-up by the Hero Group, Hero Vired, has announced the launch of its special scholarship initiative- #EmpowerHer, aimed at providing special benefits to women learners, ahead of International Women’s Day. Throughout March, Hero Vired will be offering a 25% scholarship to women learners across all programs. The initiative underscores Hero Vired’s commitment to fostering gender equality and promoting equal opportunities for women in education and the workforce. These scholarships will be applicable for program batches starting in March and April 2024. The scholarship will be applicable across all courses and programs offered by Hero Vired, ranging from its Product Management and Data Analytics programs to Extended Reality (AR +VR) and its Gaming and E-sports programs.

The initiative ‘Pragati’ by Meta and The/Nudge Institute is done to accelerate action in women’s entrepreneurship

29th February 2024: To celebrate women’s entrepreneurship and the ‘Pragati’ cohort of women-led startups, was held today at the Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai. ‘Pragati’ is a flagship initiative by META and The/Nudge Institute to provide support towards incubating and accelerating early-stage women-led nonprofits. The day-long event saw over 120 stakeholders from the start-up ecosystem, including leaders across corporates, nonprofits, social enterprises, and policy experts, coming together to explore pathways to enhance and accelerate women-led economic development through entrepreneurship, enabling them to scale by leveraging technology and other support infrastructure. Eco Relay initiative by Panasonic to have a sustainable India, and to prioritize ecosystem restoration

29th February 2024: A leading diversified technology company, Panasonic Eco Relay, under the umbrella of Panasonic in India organized a tree plantation project in the Daulatpur area where the Delhi Govt is developing an educational and eco-tourism site for the entire Southwest Delhi region where there are 48 government schools with over 15,000 children. This project will generate livelihood within the local communities in the areas of nursery management, plantation, and aftercare. In order to uplift the lives of 279 underprivileged children, KRSF partners with Sarjan Foundation’s Vocational Training Center

27th February 2024: Dr KR Shroff Foundation (KRSF) has forged a partnership with Sarjan Foundation, to uplift the lives of several underprivileged students, and extended its efforts and resources towards uplifting rural and underprivileged communities through education, Sarjan Foundation runs a Vocational Training Centre, named MARG, in Rampur-Vadla village in Amirgadh taluka of Banaskantha district, to support skill development and employment of underprivileged youth. At present, over 350 students are enrolled at the Vocational Training Centre, all of whom are secondary school dropouts and aged between 16-22 years.
