17th September 2025: Alkem Foundation, a wholly-owned subsidiary and CSR arm of Alkem Laboratories Ltd. (“Alkem”), has supported the establishment of Samprada Singh Memorial Radiotherapy Centre in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, with an investment of INR 100 crores. This radiotherapy centre, the largest one in North Bihar and the second-largest in the entire state, is part of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre that was recently inaugurated by India’s Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 10th September 2025: Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, today announced a major expansion of its flagship CSR programme, Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), reaffirming its commitment to empowering India’s youth with future-ready skills while supporting the Government’s vision of Digital India and Skill India. The skilling programme, will expand to 10 states this year, up from four in 2024. It will upskill 20,000 students in future-tech skills such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and Coding & Programming during 2025, a six-fold increase over last year’s 3,500 students. Alongside technical training, the students will also receive instruction in soft skills to enhance workplace readiness, while eligible candidates will be supported with placement assistance in relevant industries.

10th September 2025: CBM India, in partnership with SBI Foundation, announced the launch of a three-year project to provide educational and therapeutic support to 200 children with disabilities in the Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh. The project was officially inaugurated recently in Narmadapuram. The project is implemented by CBM India under SBI Foundation’s Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities, one of the Foundation’s flagship programs, and it will cover the Narmadapuram and Babai blocks. These two blocks were selected based on the needs observed in the area. While many children with disabilities are enrolled in school, access to assistive devices, therapy services, and inclusive learning environments remains limited. 9th September 2025: Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF), established in 2018 as the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Mirae Asset Financial Group in India, partnered with Times Employ India Foundation to deliver its ‘Employability Linked Skill Training’ initiative, awarding 100% scholarships to 177 young people from economically weaker sections (including 54 young women).
