 A recent announcement by Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) stated  that it is had  created a new business group, Cognizant® Ocean, which would  focus on helping clients in the “Blue Economy”  to apply digital technologies, such as AI and data analytics, with a view to improving their business outcomes, reducing their carbon output and decarbonizing the oceans.  The aim of Cognizant Ocean is to  drive efficiency, sustainability,  and growth in the Blue Economy. This encompasses a wide range of sectors that operate in and around the world’s oceans, which include marine transportation, shipping, offshore oil and gas, marine renewables, marine conservation an aquaculture  among others. These industries play a vital  role in the global economy since they provide various goods and services.

The CSR arm of Allcargo Group, The Avashya Foundation hosted itsannual Mango Festival as part of its Maitree initiative recently.This initiative is geared towards building sustainable livelihoods for farmers and conserving the environment. The venue for this festival was the Allcargo headquarters in Mumbai.
