    11 September, 2023: One of the oldest art and history museums in Edappally, Kochi will now have solar power for its electricity needs which will result in an annual savings of Rs 5 lakhs.  Muthoot Finance a leading gold loan NBFC, and a flagship company of the Muthoot Group with 20 diversified business divisions, has recently on the 7th September 2023 installed this 25KWp Solar project for this Kerala Museum. 26 July, 2023:A free, easy-to-use carbon dioxide emissions (CO2e) tracker has been launched by Myplan8, a green tech start up. This provides an insight into the carbon footprint caused by our day-to-day lifestyle, food consumption habits, regular travel etc. The Carbon Directory has 8 key categories.  Carbon emissions for water usage, food habits, energy used, pet animals, waste management, travel and electronics used and lifestyle – day to day activities have been simplified by MyPlan8.  Nearly 100 parameters have been listed by the company to help individuals reduce their carbon footprint in these categories.  The food category has 30 food items listed under it. Ayana Renewable Power launches Skills Development Centre in Gadag, Karnataka

Solar energy for a beneficial Sustenance

News Update/ press release Kharghar (Navi Mumbai), September 3, 2021: IndusInd Bank today, installed rooftop solar panels at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital located at Kharghar, in Navi Mumbai. The installation is a large-scale grid solar Photovoltaic system that will generate nearly 300-kilowatt peak (kwp) of energy, thereby reducing carbon emission by over 340 Metric Tonnes.  Moreover, it will help the Hospital save nearly Rs. 60 lakhs annually, towards energy consumption, which will then be used to facilitate cardiac surgeries of 40 children suffering from congenital heart diseases, free of cost.   The installation was inaugurated by Mr. C.
