22nd April 2024: In pursuit of its mission of becoming water-positive by 2030, Dabur India Limited announced today the reconstruction of a pond in Village Dharampur, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. 16th April 2024: L& T Finance Ltd. (LTF) has empowered over 42 lakh community members so far through the ‘Digital Sakhi’ program which is a key initiative under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The program which was initiated in 2017, has consistently expanded its geographical footprint in 7 states namely, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha, Karnataka, and Kerala with a cadre of 1,370 trained Digital Sakhis over the years. The program aims to create awareness of Digital and Financial Literacy amongst the rural population. 4 April 2024: JM Financial Foundation (JMFF) has been implementing the Integrated Village Development Project (‘Project’) in a cluster of seven villages and 15 hamlets of Mokhada block in Palghar, Maharashtra. Over the past five years, the project has constructed water conservation structures, by promoting Continuous Contour Trenches (CCTs) along hill slopes in some of the most water-scarce areas of the block in an attempt to dispel relying on large constructed water conservation structures. A total of 10,794 CCTs were dug and deepened year on year, leading to an in-situ water conservation, and natural recharge of groundwater, while also preventing run-off of surface water in the abundant monsoons in this region. 3rd April 2024: A youth-led social startup dedicated Nai Subah Foundation that empowers neurodiverse individuals, is thrilled to announce its second annual physical art exhibition, “Advaita” on the occasion of World Autism Day. With the vibrant success of last year’s exhibition, ‘Advaita’ returns to showcase the phenomenal talents of neurodiverse artists. The exhibition will take place from April 26th to April 28th, 2024, at ArtSastra Gallery, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. The second edition of ‘Advaita’ aims to provide a platform to neurodiverse artists, whose unique perspectives and artistic expressions often remain underrepresented in mainstream society. Nai Subah Foundation, which works tirelessly to catalyze positive societal transformations, has identified art as a powerful medium for expression, empowerment, and self-actualization of the neurodiverse.
